India created history, got the fourth medal, won bronze by defeating Spain in hockey
Paris Olympics 2024: Team India defeated Spain in men’s hockey at Paris Olympics 2024 and won the bronze medal today. With this, India now has a total of 4 medals in the Paris Olympics. After missing their target of winning gold, Team India led by Harmanpreet Singh defeated Spain 2-1 to win the bronze medal for the second consecutive time in the Olympic Games. Earlier in Tokyo Olympics 2021 also, India defeated Germany to win the bronze medal.
In Olympics 2024, the Indian hockey team had to face defeat against Germany in the semi-final match. After losing the semi-final, the Indian hockey team was out of the race for gold. In a thrilling match, Germany defeated India by 3-2.
