Kangana Ranaut takes a U-turn, withdraws her statement on agricultural laws, apologizes for her statements

Kangana Ranaut: If I have disappointed anyone with my words and thoughts, I will be sorry. I take back my words”. This is the latest statement of Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. The question is what did Kangana say that she has to take back her words and express regret. Why is Kangana Ranaut, who is always in the headlines for her statements, on the backfoot?

When the Farmers Laws were proposed, a lot of people supported them. But, with great sensitivity and sympathy, our Prime Minister withdrew those laws. And it is the duty of all of us activists to keep the dignity of his words.

September 23: Kangana Ranaut said – laws beneficial to farmers should be withdrawn

Just 2 days ago, while talking to the media during a program in Himachal, Kangana had asked for the re-implementation of 3 agricultural laws. Kangana said that the laws of the farmers, which were stopped, should be brought back. The farmers themselves should demand it. There should be no break in the prosperity of our farmers.

Our farmers are pillars of strength. They should themselves appeal that our three laws should be implemented. Some of our states had raised objections to these laws, I request them with folded hands to bring them back. Let us tell you that in November 2021, the central government withdrew these laws after 14 months of farmers’ agitation.

BJP distanced itself from the statement, said- We deny the statement

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said on Kangana’s statement, ‘BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s statement on 3 agricultural laws is going viral on social media. These laws have already been withdrawn. I want to make it very clear that this statement is Kangana Ranaut’s personal one. Kangana is not authorized to make any such statement on behalf of BJP, nor is her statement the party’s thinking. Therefore, we deny that statement.
