Lifted into his arms, put glasses on her… The Chief Minister’s affectionate side was on display in Bhaisamuda

In Short

  • Little Manvika’s Dreams Receive the Chief Minister’s Affectionate Touch
  • A Heartwarming Encounter in Bhaisamuda Wins Everyone’s Hearts
  • “I Want to Be a Doctor”—Hearing This, the Chief Minister Smiled and Offered Encouragement

Raipur: During the ‘Sushasan Tihar’ (Good Governance Festival), a deeply touching and emotional moment unfolded in the village of Bhaisamuda in the Jashpur district—a moment that profoundly moved the heart of every person present and filled the entire atmosphere with a sense of deep empathy.

This scene became a living testament to that human touch where governance and compassion are seen walking hand in hand.

During the Sushasan Tihar, the moment Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s eyes fell upon a four-year-old little girl named Manvika Chauhan, he instinctively walked over to her. This natural and spontaneous gesture instantly transformed the entire ambiance into an atmosphere of unique warmth and belonging.

Chief Minister Sai affectionately lifted the little girl into his arms and, with a smile, began engaging her in a heartwarming conversation.

The affection radiating from his face and the simplicity of his demeanor demonstrated that true leadership lies in reaching out to the people and truly connecting with them on a personal level. When Chief Minister Sai asked her about her aspirations, Manvika—in an innocent, lisping voice—replied, “I want to be a doctor.”

In that simple sentence, the glimpse of a grand dream was clearly visible. Hearing this, a natural and affectionate smile lit up Chief Minister Sai’s face. With genuine warmth, he blessed the little girl and wished her a bright and prosperous future.

Although this interaction lasted only for a few moments, its emotional depth made every person present realise that nurturing and encouraging the dreams of young children is, indeed, a vital part of the Chief Minister’s mission. In this same spirit of warmth and affection, Chief Minister Sai took out his own spectacles, gently placed them on the little girl’s face, and—while fondly caressing her—offered her words of encouragement.

Manvika’s mother, Dipanjali Chauhan, shared that her daughter had been extremely excited about meeting the Chief Minister and was overjoyed after finally getting to meet him.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister for this affectionate gesture, he remarked that it has become a memorable experience for his family.

This entire episode emerged as a vivid illustration of sensitive and people-centric leadership—one where governance is not confined merely to schemes and policies, but rather finds a place directly in the hearts of the people through affection, dialogue, and trust.
