Let us inform you that a huge fire broke out in Shastri Bridge Sector-19 Camp of Maha Kumbh Mela area. Which has now been brought under control but the problem of accommodation of devotees has become severe. The Chief Minister himself is monitoring the Mela area. Attention is being paid to making arrangements for the accommodation of saints and devotees as soon as possible.

ADG Bhanu Bhaskar says, “The fire has been extinguished. There is no news of any casualties. Everyone is safe. The cause of the fire is being said to be a cylinder blast but further investigation is yet to be done in this regard.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the fire in Prayagraj Mahakumbh with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Kumbh already had emergency arrangements, which included fire brigade, doctors and state-of-the-art fire fighting equipment. The Prime Minister took information about the situation and talked to the CM.
