Nayab Singh Saini will take oath as Chief Minister today, CMs of many states including PM Modi will be present, 13 leaders can become cabinet ministers, see list

Nayab Singh Saini Oath Ceremony: After a landslide victory in the Haryana Assembly Elections, the BJP is going to form the government for the third consecutive time. Acting Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will take oath as CM today Thursday October 17. Saini’s swearing-in ceremony will be held at 12.30 pm. Nayab Singh Saini will take oath as CM for the second time at Shalimar Ground in Panchkula.

PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh along with CMs and Deputy CMs of BJP ruled states and union territories will attend the swearing-in ceremony. Tight security arrangements have been made for this.

 

Before the swearing-in, the list of potential ministers has come out. 13 ministers can take oath in Saini cabinet. According to the information, 14 MLAs including the Chief Minister can join the cabinet of Haryana, in which a maximum of 13 cabinet ministers can be given place. It is reported that all the cabinet ministers will take oath along with the Chief Minister on Thursday. In this, two Dalits, two Jats, one Brahmin, one Bania, one Ahir, one Punjabi and one Khatri community have been given place.

Nayab Saini elected leader of legislative party

Earlier on Wednesday October 16 , in the meeting of legislative party held in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Nayab Singh Saini was again reposed faith in him and elected leader of legislative party. After this, he went to the Governor and staked claim to form the government. During this time, many BJP leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit Singh and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav were present with him.
