NPP withdraws its support from N. Biren Singh-led Manipur government with immediate effect

Politics News : The National People’s Party has withdrawn its support to the N. Biren Singh-led Manipur government with immediate effect. NPP national president Conrad K. Sangma informed BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda about the decision taken by the NPP. The NPP has 7 MLAs in the current 11th Manipur Assembly and supports the BJP-led government in Manipur. The BJP has 32 MLAs. Currently, the N. Biren Singh-led government has the support of the NPF, JD(U) and independent MLAs.
