CBSE Result 2025 Class 12 OUT Live: CBSE class 12th results declared, 88.39 percent students passed

CBSE result 2025 class 12 out Live: CBSE Board has declared the result of class 12th examination. Students will be able to check their scores by visiting official websites like cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and results.gov.in.

Apart from this, the result can also be checked through DigiLocker app, Umang app and SMS service. To check the result, students have to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth.

CBSE 12th Results 2025: Alternative ways to check results
Students can check their results in several convenient ways. In case of technical issues in one of the modes, students can use the options given below:
Official Website: Check results by roll number by visiting cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
Via SMS: Get results directly on mobile by sending SMS in the prescribed format.
IVRS/Call: Results can be heard by calling through Interactive Voice Response System.
Via DigiLocker: Get mark sheets and certificates by logging into the DigiLocker app or website.
UMANG App: Students can also check their results through UMANG mobile application.

After the result is released, students can check their marksheet online, but it is only temporary. For the original marksheet, students will have to contact their school. Original marksheet is required for further studies or any official work. Usually schools inform the students in time about the availability of original marksheet.

The class 12th examination was conducted between 15 February and 4 April. 17.88 lakh students appeared in it. A total of about 42 lakh students took part in both the 10th and 12th examinations.

STSS Schools – 98.96%

CBSE Board Result 2025: Merit list will not be released

The pass percentage has increased by 0.41% compared to last year. Girls have performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was more than 91%, which is 5.94% more than boys.

CBSE Class 12th Result: Over 1.15 lakh students secured Scored more than 90 percent marks
This time more than 1.15 lakh students scored more than 90 percent marks in CBSE Class 12 results, more than 24,000 candidates scored more than 95 percent marks.

Click on the “CBSE Board Result 2025” link displayed on the homepage.

Enter your roll number and date of birth in the required fields.
The result will appear on the screen.

Download the result and take a printout for future use.

CBSE Result 2025: 14,96,307 students declared passed
The pass percentage for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 stood at 88.39%. A total of 17,04,367 students had registered for the exam, out of which 16,92,794 appeared and 14,96,307 were declared passed. Moreover, the pass percentage of last year was 87.98%. Hence, there is a marginal increase of 0.41 marks in Class 12 Board Exam 2025 as compared to last year.

cbse result date 2025: Institution with highest pass percentage
The highest pass percentage in the CBSE board exam results in 2024 was recorded in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), where 99.09 percent of students passed. In comparison, the pass percentage of private schools was around 94 percent, which was good, but slightly less than JNV and KV. At the same time, the performance of government schools was slightly weak and their pass percentage was around 88 percent. The lowest success rate was of government aided schools, where only 83.95 percent of students could pass the exam.

CBSE Board 10th and 12th result will be released soon. The result of both the classes will be released together. Last year’s result was declared on 13 May. If we look at the last 6 years, the CBSE board result has often come in May. But during Corona it came in the month of August and July.
