Pakistan’s terrorist activities have not only troubled India but are infamous for their terrorist activities all over the world. Now America has caught a Pakistani citizen who was planning to carry out a terrorist attack. American intelligence agency FBI chief Kash Patel has revealed that a Pakistani citizen living in Canada was plotting to attack Jews in New York on 7 October last year and he has been caught and has now been extradited to America.

Kash Patel has given this information on the social media platform X. According to Kash Patel, Pakistani citizen Mohammad Shahzeb Khan was living in Canada and had conspired to carry out a major terrorist attack on October 7 last year by targeting a Jewish center located in New York.

He had hatched this conspiracy in collaboration with the Islamic terrorist organization ISIS and wanted to execute it at the behest of the organization. On 7 October 2023, the Palestinian militant organization Hamas attacked Israel in which more than 1,200 people were killed. In response, Israel launched attacks on the Palestinian city of Gaza which are still continuing.

On the first anniversary of the Hamas attack, the Pakistani citizen was once again going to attack Jewish citizens but he was foiled by American intelligence agencies. Khan was arrested by Canadian authorities on 4 September 2024 and has now been extradited to the US. Khan will now be tried in a US court.

Kash Patel wrote, ‘This case shows how the threat of terrorism is increasing in every corner of the world. It also shows that there has been an alarming increase in threats against our Jewish communities. Your FBI will remain vigilant and work round the clock to counter them.

Pakistan and terror nexus

Pakistan has been training, funding and sheltering terrorist groups. It has been doing this work for a long time and it uses terrorist groups against India. On April 22 itself, Pakistan-sponsored terrorists carried out an attack in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam in which 26 people were killed.

In response to this, India targeted 9 terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. In this attack by India, terrorist hideouts were targeted under Operation Sindoor. In this attack by India, the infrastructure of the terrorists was destroyed and hundreds of terrorists were also killed. India also gave proof of this to the whole world, after which Pakistan was condemned all over the world for terrorism.

Meanwhile, a statement of Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif also came out in which he said that Pakistan supported and trained terrorist groups for decades.

Pakistan’s former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has also accepted that supporting and sheltering terrorism has been the worst part of Pakistan’s history.
