Raipur: Pragati College, Raipur, organised a vibrant Welcome Party for newly admitted students of the Commerce & Management and Science Departments on Friday, September 11, 2026, marking a cheerful beginning to their new academic journey.

The programme began with the lighting of the traditional ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge and an auspicious beginning. Faculty members and students joined the ceremony as the college welcomed the newcomers into its academic community.

Principal Dr Soumya Nayyar, addressing the gathering, extended a warm welcome to the new students and encouraged them to approach their college years with confidence, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

“I wish you all a great future and a successful life ahead,” Dr Nayyar said, conveying her best wishes to the students as they embarked upon a new phase of their education.
