RAIPUR: “Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh “was organized today at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur, in which Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai honored the talented players. For the year 2022-23, 04 players were awarded for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 07 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 01 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 15 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 24 selected players for Chief Minister Trophy were honored .
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan, Dayal Das Baghel, Ramvichar Netam, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MP Raipur Brijmohan Agarwal, MLAs Sarva Sampat Agarwal, Purandar Mishra, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Pranav Marpachchi (Marwahi), Moti Lal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Indra Kumar Sahu, Secretary Sports Department Himshikhar Gupta, Director Sports and Youth Welfare Tanuja Salam and players were present.
Addressing the Samaroh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that in the last five years, “Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh ” was not organised in the state. Our government felt the pain of the players and decided to organise it again. This year the”Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh ” was organised twice. The first Samaroh was held on 14 August this year. In this, 133 players were honored with prize money of Rs 01 crore 41 lakh for the year 2019-20 and year 2020-21.
Similarly, today on the occasion of National Sports Day, the players of the year 2021-22 and year 2022-23 are being honored with “Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh “. Along with this, we are also honoring the winning players of the National Championship for year 2021-22 and year 2022-23. Today in this Samaroh , prize money of Rs 01 crore 36 lakh and 33 thousand has been given to the players.
The Chief Minister said that we are committed to taking sports talent forward in Chhattisgarh. We will nurture sports talent through good infrastructure and training so that our players can perform even better at the international level and bring glory to Chhattisgarh.
