BJP MP Mukesh Rajput also injured

There is a ruckus in both the houses of Parliament today as well. Both Congress and BJP protested in the Parliament House premises on the issue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. During this, there was news of a scuffle between the MPs of both the parties at Makar Dwar. BJP MP Pratap Sarangi was seen with a head injury. During this, BJP MP Mukesh Rajput was also injured. His condition remains critical. He has been admitted to the ICU of RML Hospital. Sarangi is also undergoing treatment in the same hospital. PM Modi has inquired about the well-being of the MPs over the phone.

What did Rahul say?

Rahul Gandhi said that I was trying to go inside the Parliament. But BJP MPs were trying to stop me, pushing and threatening me. Rahul claimed that Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi were also pushed, but it does not matter to the opposition. This is Parliament and it is our right to go inside. He said that the main issue is that the Constitution and the memory of Babasaheb have been insulted.

What is the matter? In fact, opposition members took out a march to protest against Home Minister Amit Shah’s comment related to Babasaheb Ambedkar, while BJP MPs protested accusing Congress of insulting Babasaheb. Members of the ruling party and the opposition came face to face near the ‘Makar Dwar’ of Parliament House and raised slogans.

What is the controversy about?

In fact, there has been a deadlock in both the houses of Parliament since Wednesday over Amit Shah’s comment. Congress and opposition parties allege that Shah insulted Babasaheb during his address on Tuesday while responding to the two-day discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the topic of ’75 years of glorious journey of the Constitution of India’. On the other hand, BJP alleged that Congress always insulted Babasaheb and even made him lose in elections. Express your reaction
