‘Selja tension’ for Congress in Haryana: BJP made the displeasure of the Congress leader a big issue, the MP’s differences with Bhupendra Hooda have become public

In Haryana Assembly Elections: ‘Selja tension’ can become a hurdle for Congress which is boasting of a comeback in Haryana assembly elections. Everything is not going well in Congress. Congress MP Kumari Selja is angry with the party. Selja was expecting a ticket in the assembly elections. However, Selja did not get the ticket due to Bhupinder Singh Hooda camp getting more preference. The news of the rift between the two leaders has also become public. Now BJP is making it a big issue in Haryana elections.

Kumari Selja has not issued any press release for the last eight days. However, during this time she is meeting her supporters every day. Sources said that a large number of her supporters are continuously visiting her residence.

Questions are being raised over the absence of Sirsa MP Kumari Selja during the campaigning. In fact, Congress has fielded candidates on 89 out of 90 seats in Haryana. If sources are to be believed, the party has given tickets to 72 candidates on Hooda’s behest. Kumari Selja had dominance on only 9 seats. Before the ticket distribution, Kumari Selja was continuously holding rallies for the party and she also took out yatras.

BJP made it a big issue

BJP has made Kumari Selja’s displeasure a big issue. The party says that Congress does not want the upliftment of Dalits. On September 18 itself, former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Anurag Thakur said that till date the Hooda family has not been able to respect a Dalit daughter Kumari Selja, then what will they do for the Dalits of the rest of the state? Earlier, Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand had also raised the issue of insult to Kumari Selja and invited her to join BSP.
