The rape-murder case shook the whole country, the accused had married four times, new revelation

Kolkata: The accused who raped and murdered a trainee lady doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was addicted to alcohol and porn. It is being said that the accused committed the crime after drinking alcohol and watching porn.

The protest against this kind of brutality with the lady doctor is increasing across the country including Kolkata. Where the superintendent of RG Medical College has been suspended. On the other hand, the resident doctors’ organization Federation of All India Resident Doctors Association (FRODA) has announced a strike across the country from today. Investigation has revealed that the accused had married four times. However, due to his dirty behavior, three wives had left him, while the fourth wife died of cancer last year.

On the morning of 9 August, the body of a trainee doctor was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. When the police took the accused Sanjay Roy into custody and questioned him, he confessed to rape and murder. The police have registered a case against Sanjay Roy under Section 64 (rape) and 103 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accused Sanjay Roy is currently in 14-day police custody. In protest against this incident, the resident doctors’ organization Federation of All India Resident Doctors Association (FRODA) is on a nationwide strike from today. During this time, work in OPD, elective surgery and lab will remain closed.

Work is also closed in RG Kar Medical College. At the same time, doctors say that the police have arrested only one accused, while many others may also be involved in this heinous crime. They claim that behind the arrest of accused Sanjay Roy, an attempt is being made to deliberately hide some big thing. At the same time, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has also given an ultimatum to complete the investigation and take action within 48 hours, otherwise it has warned of a nationwide strike.
