Tribal Day Special: A tree was planted under the ‘Martyr’s Mother’s Name Campaign’

In District Sukma, under the guidance of IG Bastar Range Jagdalpur Sundarraj P.K., in the presence of Kamalochan Kashyap, Deputy Inspector General of Police Range, Dantewada as the chief guest, Kiran Chavan, Superintendent of Police Sukma, Nikhil Rakhecha, Additional Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Verma, Additional Superintendent of Police, District Sukma, under the campaign of “Podla Urskana, Tree Plantation Campaign Year -2024” and “Ek Ped Shaheed Ke Maa Ke Naam”, various types of fruit-bearing, shady (cashew, lemon, amla, mango, jackfruit etc.) plants were planted today in Police Line Sukma by senior police officers/employees of the district, martyr family members and school students.

Under the “Podla Urskana (Tree Plantation) Campaign Year -2024” and “Ek Ped Shaheed Ke Maa Ke Naam”, tree plantation program was organised with great enthusiasm in all the police stations, camps and schools and other government offices/institutions of district- Sukma. It is known that in the district, since the year 2021, under the “Podla Urskana (Tree Plantation) Campaign, various types of fruit and shade trees are being planted in the premises of government offices so that proper respect can be given to the mothers of police and security force members and citizens who made the supreme sacrifice for the peace, security and development of the area.
