US President Donald Trump has once again reiterated his claim to mediate between India and Pakistan. He said that he resolved the recent military tension between India and Pakistan through a trade deal. He also said that he has played an important role in establishing peace between the two countries.

US President Donald Trump has once again reiterated his claim to bring about a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Trump said that he has resolved the recent military tension between India and Pakistan through a trade deal. During a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House on Wednesday, he said that if you see what we have just done with Pakistan and India, we have resolved the whole issue. Trump also said that I believe this whole issue has been resolved through trade.

Trump reiterated his claim

US President Donald Trump said that I spoke to both the leaders. PM Modi is my friend. Pakistan also has good people and leaders. Someone had to stop firing in the end. On this, the South African President said that PM Modi is our common friend.

US President seen in race to take credit

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that Trump has taken credit for Indo-Pak ceasefire. Earlier, amid tensions, he had posted on social media platform before the official announcement of India-Pakistan truce and claimed that he has played an important role in resolving Indo-Pak tension peacefully.

Former US NSA took a jibe at Trump’s claim

Earlier, former US NSA took a jibe at President Donald Trump’s claim of mediation. Bolton said that Trump has a habit of taking credit. This is not personal to India. He said that Donald Trump takes credit for everything. I think he had a conversation with Prime Minister Modi.

He said that I am sure it will be just like other countries are also calling to see what they can do. Trump’s specialty is that he jumps in before anyone else takes credit. This can be annoying. But this is nothing against India. This is just Trump being Trump.

India-Pakistan tension, a glance

It is worth noting that India attacked terrorist bases in Pakistan on May 7 under Operation Sindoor. This action was taken in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, in which 26 people were killed. After this, Pakistan tried to target Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10, to which India gave a befitting reply.

Drone and missile attacks took place between the two countries for four days. Finally, on May 10, India and Pakistan agreed on a complete and immediate ceasefire. On the same day, Trump announced that this agreement was reached between the two countries with the mediation of America.
