Tulsi Vivah 2024: Every year Tulsi Mata is married to Lord Shaligram on the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. This year this date is falling on 13 November 2024. According to religious beliefs, Shaligram is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Performing Tulsi Vivah ritually on the day of Tulsi Vivah gives the same result as a Kanyadan. In Hinduism, Kanyadan is considered to be Mahadaan and its importance is also very high.

Importance of Tulsi Vivah
On the day of Tulsi Vivah, the marriage of Shaligram and Tulsi is performed. It is said that whoever does this auspicious deed, soon the wedding shehnai plays in their house and the family life passes happily. The marriage of Tulsi and Shaligram is organised in the same way as it is done in the marriage of a girl. Therefore, those who do not have a daughter can earn the virtue of Kanyadaan by marrying Tulsi on this day. Also, those who are facing any kind of problem in the marriage of their daughter, they will also get over soon and the girl will get a suitable groom.
