There has been a new twist in the case of gang rape of a married woman in a hotel in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. On the basis of the complaint of the victim in this case, the police have registered a case against Haryana BJP Chief Mohanlal Badauli and a singer Jai Bhagwan alias Rocky Mittal under Section 376D (gangrape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This incident is of the year 2023. But on Wednesday, the victim’s friend told a different story in a press conference
‘I met the singer, did not see the BJP chief’
She said, my name is Poonam. My friend and her boss, the three of us went to Kasauli in July 2023. The three of us met singer Rocky Mittal, but it was a normal meeting. After the meeting, Mittal left from there. After this, I, my friend and her boss Amit (ticket candidate) slept together in a room.
‘We met Rocky Mittal in the hotel lobby’
The victim’s friend said that I have never seen Mohanlal Badauli, nor have we met in the hotel. Rocky Mittal met us in the hotel lobby. But no one drank anything. Everything is a lie, in which I have been made a witness.
‘Asked to support by saying that money will be given’
My friend who has filed the FIR had asked me to support him in the FIR. He had said that she would get money and her boss would get a ticket or chairmanship. The victim’s friend said that when the news spread, I told my parents.
What is the whole matter?
According to the complaint of the victim woman, she was staying in a hotel in Kasauli with her boss and a female friend. On July 3, 2023, she met Haryana BJP Chief Mohanlal Badauli and singer Jai Bhagwan alias Rocky there. Both of them made the victim aware of their influence and reach and lured her with a government job and promising to make her a heroine. When the victim came under their influence, they forced her to drink alcohol. When the victim refused, she was gang-raped. Not only this, the accused also made a video of their misdeed. She was asked to keep quiet by threatening to make it viral. She was also threatened with death. Two months ago, the victim was called to Rocky’s house in Panchkula.
‘Threatened to implicate in a false case‘
There the accused threatened to implicate her in a false case. After this, on December 13, 2024, the victim lodged a complaint in Kasauli, Solan. On the basis of this, the police registered a case against Badauli and Rocky under sections 376 D (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Copy of FIR went viral on social media
Copy of FIR is going viral on social media since Tuesday. On the allegation of gangrape, singer Rocky says that he is being implicated in this case. Rocky said, ‘We went to Kasauli together, but Badauli stayed separately. I am being blackmailed since September to testify against Badauli. When I did not lie, I was implicated along with him. Amit Bindal is the BJP coordinator of Sonipat. He has hatched this conspiracy after his ticket was cut.’
Who is Mohan Lal Badauli?
Let us tell you that Mohan Lal Badauli, the accused in this case, is the state president of Haryana BJP. He is an MLA from Rai in Sonipat district. Along with this, he has also been associated with RSS. Earlier, the current Chief Minister of Haryana, Naib Singh Saini was the state president. After he became the Chief Minister, Badauli was given this responsibility. Jai Bhagwan alias Rocky is a well-known singer.
