Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Raipur on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Raipur on a two-days visit to Chhattisgarh on Sunday June 22 and Monday June 23 , 2025 . He was welcomed at the airport by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, DGP Arun Dev Gautam. From the airport, Shah has arrived to attend the online foundation stone laying program of the National Forensic Science University (NFSU) and Chhattisgarh’s new forensic lab at Atal Nagar in Nava Raipur.

Let us tell you that Home Minister Shah will hold a high-level meeting on Sunday June 22 , 2025 with the DGP and ADGP of Chhattisgarh and neighboring states regarding the elimination of Maoist violence. After this, he will also visit a camp of security forces in Bastar region.

Besides the next day on June 23,2025 the Home Minister will reach the BSF camp at Irkbhatti in Narayanpur district, where he will encourage the brave soldiers fighting on the Maoist front. This is the same area which was once considered an impenetrable stronghold of the Maoists, but now a decisive campaign is going on here.
