Nepanagar : An attempt to bomb an army train in Madhya Pradesh has been foiled. Let us inform you that many cases of train derailment are coming to light in different states across the country. Meanwhile, a new case is coming to light from Madhya Pradesh, where not only an attempt was made to derail the train but also an attempt was made to blow up the train with a bomb.
According to the information, on September 18, a conspiracy was hatched to blow up the Army’s special train by planting 10 detonators. As soon as ATS, NIA got the information about this, top railway and police officials along with them inspected the spot.
Since it is a matter related to army , the officials are maintaining secrecy about . 10 detonators were planted on the railway track. Unknown people had planted the detonator between pillar number 537/5 and 537/3 on the track at a short distance from Sagphata railway station under Bhusaval division of Central Railway.
As soon as the train passed the detonator, a very loud explosion sound was heard and the train driver became alert and he stopped the train at some distance from Sagphata and gave a memo to the station master. After stopping for about 5 minutes, the train left for Bhusaval and a complaint of the incident was made to the station master.
On September 18 at 1:48 pm, an attempt was made to derail the Army’s special train going from Jammu Kashmir to Karnataka by planting 10 detonators on the railway track near Sagphata railway station.
The matter escalated after the complaint of the loco pilot. Since the matter is related to arm forces , the sound of the blasts has alerted the investigating agencies. On Saturday September 21 afternoon, the special branch DSP of the police department, Nepanagar SDOP station in-charge and railway officials inspected the spot. On the same day late evening, officials of many intelligence agencies including NIA, ATS reached Khandwa and the scope of investigation was further expanded.
