J&K Assembly Violence Video: For the last three days, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly has been a battleground over Article 370. Every day there is a dispute between the ruling party and opposition MLAs. On the fifth day of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session, i.e. today On Friday November 8 , 2024 there was a lot of uproar again. Today , once again the ruling and opposition MPs attacked each other over the Article 370 restoration proposal in the House. During this, the honorables were seen fighting with each other like street goons. During this, all decorum was torn to shreds. Marshall dragged out Engineer Rashid’s brother and Awami Ittehad Party MLA Khurshid Sheikh.

Let us inform you that BJP is continuously opposing the proposal brought against Article 370. After the uproar started today, slogans were raised against PDP. As soon as the session started, BJP MLAs stood up and started protesting by raising slogans against PDP and the Speaker.

On the other hand, CM Omar Abdullah said about the entire controversy that what happened on 5 August 2019 is not acceptable to us. This was done without talking to us. Some people are saying that we have forgotten that issue. We are not the ones who cheat, rather we are the people who know the law. How to bring things through the assembly.

Omar Abdullah further said that we want such a voice to come from the assembly that the central government is forced to talk to us. We have raised that voice and got the proposal passed. We do not make promises for elections. We do not make empty promises, we fulfill the promises we make.

There was a ruckus yesterday too

On Thursday November 7, 2024 too, there was a lot of ruckus in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. On one side were the MLAs of National Conference and Congress, while in front of them were the MLAs of BJP. The situation had reached to a scuffle. The ruling party and the opposition BJP MLAs caught each other’s collars and pushed each other.

Let us also inform you that MLA Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh from Langate had waved a banner for the return of Article 370 in the House. The banner read, ‘We want the restoration of Article 370 and 35A and the release of all political prisoners. BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma opposed it and the opposition members started sloganeering.
