Weather changes in the CG , heavy rail fall , red alert issued for next 3 hours

Raipur: There is a warning of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh once again from today (Tuesday ). Red alert has been issued for Balrampur, Jashpur, Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur, Surguja for the next 3 hours. There is an orange alert in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi and a yellow alert in Korea, Mungeli district. Heavy rain may occur here.

The weather has changed in Chhattisgarh since Monday night. It rained in many areas, due to which the night weather remained cold in many districts including Raipur. The system formed in the Bay of Bengal is moving towards northern Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Its effect is being seen in many districts of the state. Raipur is cloudy since morning. Cold winds are blowing.

Monsoon activity remained normal in the state on Monday September 16. The highest rainfall of 150 mm was recorded in Ramchandrapur of Balrampur district. Very heavy rainfall was recorded at 3 places and heavy rainfall at 6 places. Monsoon system is active in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. There may be rain with thunder and lightning in the district even today. The weather remained pleasant throughout the day on Monday September 16 . There was good rain in the evening amid drizzle and cloudy weather, which gave a lot of relief to people from heat and humidity.

Chhattisgarh has received 1139.7 mm of rain from June 1 to September 16. The average rainfall during the monsoon season (June 1 to September 30) is 1143 mm. There are still 13 days left for the departure of monsoon. That means the rain that will occur now will be a bonus for the state. Last year, the state received 1061 mm of rain which was 7 percent less than the average. But this time there is a possibility of more than average rainfall
