BJP on Rahul Gandhi Boston speech: Rahul Gandhi made several serious allegations against the Election Commission of India. Now BJP leaders have reacted to this.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit back at the allegations leveled by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in the US on the Election Commission. The BJP has called the Congress leader a ‘serial criminal’ and ‘agent of George Soros’. Also, he has been accused of defaming the country.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had raised questions on Maharashtra assembly elections in Boston, USA. He claimed that the Election Commission of India has compromised. According to Rahul Gandhi, there is some ‘glitch’ in this system.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?

Rahul Gandhi is on a 2-day US tour. During this, he addressed the Indian diaspora on the evening of 20 April. During this, he said,

I have said many times that in the Maharashtra assembly elections, more people have voted than the number of adults. The Election Commission had given us the voting figures till 5:30 pm. After this, 65 lakh votes were cast between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. But 65 lakh votes in 2 hours is not possible.

Rahul Gandhi further said,

It takes about 3 minutes for a voter to cast his vote. If you do the math, you will find that the queue of voters should have been there till 2 o’clock in the night. But this did not happen. When we asked for videography of the election, the commission refused. Not only this, they also changed the law. So that we cannot ask questions about the video in future.

BJP’s response

BJP leader Sambit Patra also reacted to these allegations of Rahul Gandhi. Addressing a press conference organized at the BJP headquarters, he said,

I have been seeing in the media since morning that there are two important news. One is Rahul Gandhi’s old habit of insulting the country on foreign soil. The second is the talk of holding a press conference on behalf of the Congress party. The big leaders of the Congress will go to different places and hold press conferences like a thief making noise and will save the mother and son.

Apart from this, BJP’s national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala has also targeted Rahul Gandhi. He said,

Rahul Gandhi keeps on appealing for the Constitution. But at the same time, he also insults the institutions that protect it. This has become Rahul Gandhi’s identity. He goes abroad and says that democracy has ended in India. This shows that some anti-Modi people have now become anti-India.

At the same time, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused Rahul Gandhi of being an ‘agent of George Soros’.

Pradeep Bhandari asked why Rahul always defames India on foreign soil?

Let us tell you, Rahul Gandhi has been continuously attacking on Maharashtra assembly elections. He accuses of adding voters in this election through fake means. Rahul had asked the Election Commission for the data of voters.

The Election Commission also reacted to these allegations. The Election Commission said that it sees political parties as primary stakeholders. Certainly, voters are primary.
