Nitish Kumar will hold an important meeting with his MPs, MLAs, and MLCs this evening regarding the formation of a new government in Bihar and the new leadership of the JDU. Sources say that Nitish Kumar may hand over the reins of the party to his son Nishant.

Efforts to form a new government in Bihar have intensified today, and a final decision may be taken at an important party meeting this evening. According to sources within the Janata Dal (United), Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is considering handing over the reins of the party to his son, Nishant Kumar. If this happens, it would be a major step towards carrying forward Nitish Kumar’s political legacy.

Sources also said that Nitish Kumar will discuss his decision to run for the Rajya Sabha and the party’s future leadership with the party’s MPs, MLAs, and MLCs at a meeting this evening.

Sources say that discussions may also be held regarding the leadership of the JDU and its participation in the formation of the new government in Bihar. It is being reported that in this meeting, Nitish Kumar may also propose the entry of his son Nishant into politics, which could give a new direction to the future of the JDU.

A source close to the JDU stated that Nishant Kumar could not only be given the leadership of the party in Bihar, but he could also be the face of the JDU within the new government. Nitish Kumar himself will consult with all senior party leaders on this proposal. If this proposal is passed, it will mark the beginning of an era for the JDU in Bihar.
