South Africa had a bad start
Indian bowlers wreaked havoc in the final. The Indian bowlers bundled out South Africa for 82 runs in 20 overs. In the match played at Bayeumas Oval Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, South Africa captain Reneke won the toss and decided to bat first. However, her decision proved wrong. The team had a bad start. The South African team got the first blow in the form of Simone Lawrence in the second over. She was clean bowled by Parunika Sisodia. Simone could not open the account. After this, in the fourth over, Shabnam Shakeel got Gemma Botha caught by Kamalini. Gemma scored 16 runs with the help of three fours in 14 balls.
