UP Chief Minister to visit skill centre, interact with students and address the Trust’s 25th-anniversary gathering in Nellore district
Nellore: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh on Monday, September 7, to participate in the silver jubilee celebrations of Swarna Bharat Trust at Venkatachalam in Nellore district.
According to the announced programme, Adityanath is expected to reach Venkatachalam at around 11 am. He will visit the Soma Skill Centre at Akshara Vidyalaya at 11.30 am and interact with students before proceeding to the Swarna Bharat Trust campus at around 2 pm for the main silver jubilee programme. He is scheduled to address the gathering during the celebrations.
25 Years of Rural Empowerment
The celebrations mark 25 years of an institution established with the inspiration of former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu. Swarna Bharat Trust has focused on rural empowerment through education, vocational and technical training, healthcare, programmes for farmers and women, and employment-oriented skill development. Its activities include the Soma Skill Development and Technical Training Institute and Akshara Vidyalaya.
Former Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu is expected to attend the programme along with Andhra Pradesh ministers Ponguru Narayana and Y. Satya Kumar, BJP state president P.V.N. Madhav, MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and other dignitaries.
Managing Trustee Deepa Venkat has invited people to participate in the silver jubilee celebrations, highlighting the Trust’s work among economically disadvantaged families, women, farmers and rural youth.
The visit will also give Adityanath an opportunity to see some of the Trust’s skill-development initiatives first-hand and interact with young beneficiaries before joining the anniversary programme.
