Young man was got cheated of Rs 70 lakh in the name of getting him selected in the national cricket team, accused woman arrested

Bilaspur : A case of fraud of about Rs 70 lakhs has come to light in the name of getting Akash Khanna, a resident of Bilaspur, selected in the national level cricket team. In this case, Torwa police have arrested the absconding female accused Khushboo and sent her to jail.

Let us inform you that Rakhi Khanna, who lives in Mahamaya Vihar Warehouse Road, had lodged a complaint in Torwa police station in the year 2021 that her son Akash Khanna had joined Prime Cricket Academy Bengali Kali Mandir Ground Torwa, whose coach was Sunny Dua and director was Anjula Dua. Both of them, by luring Akash to get selected in the national level cricket team, got about 70 lakh rupees in cash and online deposited in the account of the third accused Khushboo Singh, resident of Jarhabhata.

When after a long time, Akash was not got selected, then Rakhi realized that she had been cheated. A complaint was lodged in Torwa police station. The accused husband-wife Sunny and Anjula Dua were arrested by the police, but the third female accused Khushboo Singh had absconding , Torwa police was continuously searching for Khushboo. Meanwhile, police got information through an informer that Khushboo was seen near Jarhabhatta Chowk. On receiving the information, Torwa police reached the spot and arrested the accused Khushboo and sent her to jail.
