Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is determined for the development of the state. This journey of progress and good governance is also visible in the form of expansion in health facilities. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, along with Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, has laid special emphasis on improving health facilities and development of new facilities. In view of this, on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Sai and under the guidance of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, tender has been issued for the building of four new medical colleges in the state.
Four new medical colleges will be built in the state at Janjgir Champa, Kabirdham, Manendragarh and Geedam in Dantewada. A provision of Rs 1020.60 crore has been made for their planning, designing, engineering and construction work. Bid documents will be available online from October 11 and the last date for submitting them will be November 7. On the release of e-tender, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has said that his first priority is to increase health facilities in the state so that the youth of the state as well as people of every section can get maximum benefit and better resources can be made available to the local people for treatment.
