Delegation of Foreign Affairs Committee of Poland met Chief Minister Sai and invited investment in Chhattisgarh-Photo- DPR
Raipur: A delegation of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Poland paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence office here today on Monday February 10, 2025 . Chief Minister Mr. Sai welcomed the delegation to Chhattisgarh and presented them with the symbol of Bastar Art and a royal towel. The Chief Minister informed the delegation about Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, mineral reserves, forest wealth and tourism and other features and discussed economic investment in the state. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving on the path of economic development. Our doors are open for investors, all kinds of facilities are being provided to industries here. The Chief Minister also invited investors from Poland and other European countries for industrial investment in Chhattisgarh. The Polish Parliamentary delegation was very impressed by the information about Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Poland, Pavel Koval, said that he felt very happy to come to Chhattisgarh. He went to Purkhauti Muktangan yesterday, where he got a glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s culture. Last year, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi visited Poland. An Indian Prime Minister visited Poland after almost 45 years. After this visit, relations between Poland and India have become stronger. In this context, we are visiting various states of India. There are many possibilities of mutual cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Poland. In this regard, this visit to Chhattisgarh is very important for us. He thanked everyone for the warm welcome given to the delegation in Chhattisgarh.
During the discussion with the delegation, the Chief Minister said that last year Prime Minister Modi had visited Poland. This was the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Poland after 45 years. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is establishing good relations with all the countries. It is a matter of great happiness that the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Poland has shown interest in the investment possibilities here by visiting Chhattisgarh. We welcome all of you to the state. We will provide all kinds of cooperation and convenience to the investors of Poland who want to make economic investment in Chhattisgarh.
While giving information about Chhattisgarh to the delegation, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has made unprecedented progress in the journey of 25 years since the formation of the state. Chhattisgarh is the ninth largest state in the country. Chhattisgarh is making a significant contribution to the development of the country. It has abundant mineral reserves and forest wealth. Secretary of the Industry Department, Rajat Kumar gave information about the new industrial policy implemented in the state. During this, a brief power point presentation was given on the infrastructure and cultural heritage and tourism of Chhattisgarh.
