Ignoring the order of the cabinet, purchasing herbal products from private companies, is it not a conspiracy of the officers to defame the BJP government ?
MP Brijmohan Agarwal has written a letter to the government demanding action against the officers earning lakhs and crores by taking commission from private companies. Raipur (Jaseri). CGMSC, which keeps the Chhattisgarh government in the news for its black deeds, is such a black spot on the health department that it never fades.
MP Brijmohan Agarwal has demanded an inquiry into its black deeds from the government. The matter is of the then BJP government, which had passed a proposal in the cabinet in 2012 that instead of purchasing Ayurvedic medicines, herbal products from minor forest produce and food items processed from minor forest produce in the state at the prescribed rate without tender, the officers of CGMSC and AYUSH are purchasing medicines from private Ayurvedic companies, on which action has been demanded.
Disobeying the Cabinet proposal and the Chief Secretary’s instructions: Rules and regulations have become insignificant in front of the officers who have become synonymous with dictatorship in CGMSC. Direct proof of this is that purchases are going on here, which are from private companies filling their pockets instead of minor forest produce. Director AYUSH and Managing Director CG Medical Services Corporation Raipur have disobeyed the orders of the Chief Secretary CG Government and the orders given that the medicines are to be purchased from the State Minor Forest Produce Federation Limited and herbal products for Ayurvedic medicine, that too without tender, by taking undue advantage of the purchase order, the officers are making crores and billions of rupees by purchasing from private companies.
MP Raipur , Brijmohan Agarwal has written a letter to the government for investigation and said that forest committees, which are run by people of mostly tribal society living in forest villages, prepare Ayurvedic medicines through processing units operated under the forest department by collecting raw medicines and inedible materials found in the forests of Chhattisgarh. But due to the presence of many other renowned Ayurvedic companies in the market, the products of Chhattisgarh Herbals are not sold, due to which forest committees are not able to get profit and not able to function properly .
