Delhi Assembly Election Voting 2025 Live Updates: Voting is going on for the Delhi Assembly elections. Voting on all 70 seats of the capital will continue till 6 pm. During this, 1.56 crore voters of Delhi will exercise their franchise and decide the fate of about 700 candidates. The results will be announced on February 8.
While the Aam Aadmi Party is engaged in the fight to gain power for the third time, the BJP-Congress are also struggling to capture the throne of Delhi. BJP has been out of power for more than 25 years. At the same time, Congress was in power for 15 years before the Aam Aadmi Party, but the party has not managed to win a single seat in the last two elections.
13,766 polling booths have been set up for all 70 assembly seats in the national capital. 699 candidates are in the fray. 220 companies of paramilitary forces, 35,626 Delhi Police personnel and 19,000 home guards have been deployed to ensure voting. About 3,000 polling stations have been identified as sensitive, where tight security arrangements have been made. During voting, the police team will also monitor with drones.

Voting for the assembly elections is going on in the country’s capital Delhi. According to the Election Commission, 46.4 percent voting took place till 3 pm. Mustafabad has the highest voting of 56.12% till 3 pm, while Karol Bagh and Chandni Chowk are at the lowest, where about 40% voting has taken place till 3 pm.
