Dussehra 2024 – Light how many diyas ( Lamps) today, know in which direction it is good to keep it…

Dussehra 2024: Dussehra festival has great importance in Hinduism. On this day Lord Rama burnt Ravana and hence this festival is celebrated with great pomp and show. According to the scriptures, Mother Durga also killed Mahishasura on this day, so on this day lamps are lit outside the house and the door of the house is decorated with rangoli. Today we will tell you in detail about how many lamps should be lit on this day and in which direction it is auspicious to light lamps.

Keep the diya in this direction
On the day of Dussehra, you should light diyas in all the ten directions. Apart from East, West, North, South, it includes East-North (Ishaan angle), South-East (Agneya angle), West-North (Vayavya angle), South-West (Nairitya angle), Urdhva (upward).

Light diya with this oil
Now if we talk about how many diyas should be lit on the day of Dussehra, then on this day you should light 10 diyas. Light all these diyas with mustard oil. If you want, you can also use sesame oil. Keep five diyas near holy plants like Tulsi, Peepal, Shami, Banyan and Banana. Also light a ghee diya in front of Lord Ram.
