EOW presented Saumya Chaurasia, Manoj Soni and Roshan Chandrakar in court, also presented supplementary challan against three accused in excise scam

Raipur: Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have presented the accused in three important cases in the court today on Monday November 18 , 2024 . ACB/EOW has presented Saumya Chaurasia in the disproportionate assets case, former MD Manoj Soni in the custom milling case and businessman Roshan Chandrakar in the court. In the excise scam case, a supplementary challan has been presented against three accused Anil Tuteja, Sunil Dutt and Vikas Agarwal.

Disproportionate assets case
Saumya Chaurasia, arrested in the disproportionate assets case, was produced in court by EOW today. Saumya Chaurasia is already in jail in the coal scam case. After the end of 10 days of police remand, she was produced in the special court of ACB/EOW.

Custom milling case
Former MD of Markfed Manoj Soni and businessman Roshan Chandrakar, arrested in the custom milling scam, were also produced in court by EOW. Their 15 days of police remand had ended. However, EOW did not demand their further remand.

Excise scam case
The EOW today presented the third supplementary challan in the court in the excise scam. This challan is about 2,000 pages long, which includes documents against three accused – Anil Tuteja, Sunil Dutt, and Vikas Agarwal. This challan was filed in the special court of ACB/EOW.
