Raipur: Moving forward with the concept of prosperity through service and good governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today virtually inaugurated the CIMS Super Specialty Hospital built at a cost of Rs. 200 crores in Bilaspur (Koni) on the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti and Ninth Ayurveda Day.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony held at Super Specialty Hospital Koni. Prime Minister Modi virtually launched and laid the foundation stone of several health projects worth more than Rs 12,850 crore in various places of the country at a ceremony held in New Delhi, including the inauguration of SIMS Super Specialty Hospital in Bilaspur (Koni) of Chhattisgarh and the foundation stone laying of the 100-bed Central Yoga and Naturopathy Research Institute (CYNI) to be built in Raipur. Prime Minister Modi said that the more healthy the people of the country are, the faster the progress of the country will be. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw was present in the program.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the countrymen on Dhanteras and Lord Dhanvantari Jayanti. He said that this celebration of good luck and health on the day of Dhanteras is not just a coincidence, it is a celebration of health and prosperity. The more healthy the people of the country are, the faster the progress of the country will be. People from all over the world come to India for yoga and panchkarma, their number will increase in the coming years . He said that the Government of India is working with sensitivity in the field of health.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that today is Dhanteras and the ninth Ayurveda Day. On this occasion, the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the Nyayadhani Bilaspur in the field of health. The Multi Super Specialty Hospital located in Bilaspur is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital will not only provide better treatment facilities to the villagers around Bilaspur, but patients of Surguja division will also not have to go far for better treatment. He said that our government is committed to fulfill all the promises of development with Modi’s guarantee and the resolve of good governance. The Chief Minister’s Tirtha Yatra Yojana is being restarted by our government. Our government is working with full sensitivity on all dimensions of development including education, health and employment.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that the hospital built at a cost of Rs. 200 crores under the leadership of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is a great gift for the people of Bilaspur on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. With the inauguration of this hospital equipped with better facilities, now the people of the area will not have to wander here and there for treatment. MLA Sushant Shukla said that the inauguration of this hospital will set a new record in the field of health.
While giving the welcome address in the program, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua described the inauguration of this multi super specialty hospital built at a cost of Rs. 200 crores as a historic moment for Bilaspur. The Chhattisgarh government is setting new records in the field of health. In this series, this 11-storey grand hospital has been built in two and a half acres. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, this hospital will provide better health facilities to the people of Bilaspur as well as Surguja cluster .
It is worth mentioning that in the year 2003, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee started the Health Security Scheme to increase the reach of quality health facilities in remote areas and strengthen medical facilities. Two super specialty hospitals are being started in Chhattisgarh under Phase Four of the Prime Minister Health Security Scheme, which includes this super specialty hospital built at a cost of Rs. 200 crores. This 11-storey hospital is the tallest building in Bilaspur in which facilities like CT scan, MRI, digital X-ray, color Doppler TMT machine are available. This 240-bed hospital will have 70 ICU and ICCU beds. 08 modular operation theatres have also been constructed in this hospital. At present, four OPDs including Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Pulmonology and General Medicine are being started in this hospital. Blood bank and pathology lab facilities will also be available in this hospital.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the facilities available in this grand 11-storey hospital building. He visited rooms like CT scan, X-ray, blood bank, pathology lab etc. During this, various materials and certificates were also distributed under the health scheme. He distributed motorized tricycles to 37 beneficiaries, two bike ambulances for operating in remote areas, 5 sickle cards, 5 Ayushman cards. Similarly, he provided NQAS certificate to 07 centers of the district to ensure better quality in the health center. These include the district hospital, 03 primary health centers Kargi Kala, Hardi Kala, Navagaon Salka and 03 sub health centers Mittu Navagaon, Majhwani, Pendrava. NQAS certificate is provided by the National Quality Supervisory Committee under the Health and Family Welfare Department to ensure better health and quality.
