How many rounds of counting?: Counting of votes in the by-election of Raipur South Assembly seat will be completed in a total of 19 rounds. Counting is being done on a total of 14 tables for counting work. Apart from this, a separate counter was set up for counting postal ballots. First the postal ballots were counted on this table, after that the process of counting the votes recorded in the EVM will take place.
Counting arrangements: Two assistant returning officers have been appointed to conduct the counting work. Apart from this, 4 additional assistant returning officers have also been appointed. Counting supervisors have been appointed on each of the 14 tables set up at the counting centre. Apart from this, counting assistants and micro observers have been deployed. All of them are engaged in counting the votes. Tight security arrangements have been made for the counting of votes. Security forces personnel have been deployed.
