Raipur: Voting for Raipur South City Assembly bypoll is going on since 7 am. The scheduled time for voting has been kept till 6 pm. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has released the voting data till 5 pm. According to the data released by the Commission, so far 46.43 percent voting has taken place in the South Assembly constituency.
Talking about the vote percentage of South City Assembly constituency, 61.70 percent voting took place in the year 2018 assembly bypoll , while in the year 2023 assembly bypoll , the voting percentage was reduced to 60.20 percent. Now in the bypoll being held after a year, less than 50 percent voting has taken place till 5 pm. However, there is still half an hour left for voting.
Let us inform you that votes are being cast today for the Raipur South City Assembly bypoll , the result of which will be released on November 23. Talking about the figures of Raipur City South Assembly constituency, 2 lakh 71 thousand 169 voters of the area, including 1 lakh 33 thousand 800 male and 1 lakh 37 thousand 317 female voters along with 52 third gender voters will exercise their franchise.
