Raipur: The 60th DG Conference will be held in Nava Raipur from November 28-30, 2025 . Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, along with approximately 250 senior DG, ADG, and IG-level officers from across the country, will participate.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has issued clear instructions regarding austerity. Events and guest accommodation will be arranged only in government buildings, instead of hotels or private buildings. Following this directive, the district and police administrations have begun selecting government buildings in Raipur and Nava Raipur.
According to police officials, the DG conference will have detailed discussions on issues such as internal security, law and order, cybercrime, border management, and terrorism. Discussions will also be held on new technology, intelligence sharing, and security coordination between states. The major successes achieved through joint operations between state police and central forces in recent months, particularly in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh, will be discussed.
New strategies will be formulated based on this. The Union Home Minister has already set March 31, 2026, as the deadline for completely eliminating the Maoist problem. It is believed that a special session on Maoism will be held, where the Prime Minister and Home Minister will directly receive feedback from security officials. Several new policies are also expected to emerge from the conference.
Conference at IIM Building, Modi to Stay at Speaker’s House
The conference will be held at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) building in Nava Raipur. Prime Minister Modi’s overnight stay is likely to be arranged at the new Speaker’s House in Nava Raipur. This building is very close to the IIM and the new Assembly building, which will facilitate transportation.
Guests Will Stay Here
Guests will be accommodated in the Officers’ Mess, Circuit House, Convention Center, and Pahuna Guest House. Instructions have been given to ensure that all arrangements are comfortable and dignified. This is the first time that the DG Conference is being held in Chhattisgarh.
