On the occasion of Vasant Panchami, the number of devotees has started increasing in the pilgrimage city of Prayagraj for the third Amrit Snan. The government and the fair system are active.

More than 1.13 crore devotees took bath till 4 pm
More than 1.13 crore devotees took bath in Maha Kumbh till 4 pm on Sunday. Out of these, more than 10 lakh Kalpvasis and more than 1.03 crore pilgrims visited. More than 33.61 crore devotees took bath till 01 February.

Only four pontoon bridges opened to go towards Sangam and Daraganj

Crowd is increasing for Amrit Snan on Vasant Panchami
Crowd is increasing for Amrit Snan on Vasant Panchami in Prayagraj. Entry of vehicles is banned in Sangam Mela area. Devotees are reaching by walking for several kilometers. Meanwhile, arguments have been seen between the police and devotees and saints on the barricading at many intersections. The video of which has surfaced.

41.90 lakh took a dip till 8 am today
Devotees continue to arrive in the Mahakumbh area in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to the Uttar Pradesh Information Department, more than 41.90 lakh devotees have taken a holy dip till 8 am today.

Saint from Australia becomes Mahamandaleshwar
Two including an Australian saint were given the title of Mahamandaleshwar at Niranjani Akhara Cantonment on Saturday. Both received the title under the leadership of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri. Kailashanand Giri consecrated Australian saint Swami Vigyananand Giri and Sadhvi Pushpanjali Giri (Vrindavan). He said that the spiritual life of a saint is full of sadhana, self-knowledge and service. He tries to establish a deep and true unity with the divine in life. Ravindra Puri and Balakanand Maharaj were also present on this occasion. 08:05 AM, 02-Feb-2025 Earning 10 thousand daily by selling toothpicks A video of a young man giving credit of the money earned throughout the day by selling toothpicks in Maha Kumbh to his girlfriend is going viral these days. Already influencers were giving ideas to people in Prayagraj to become lakhpati and crorepati. Some people also started business from selling tea to applying sandalwood. One of those young men has earned 40 thousand rupees in just four days with the idea suggested by his girlfriend. In the viral video, the young man told that his girlfriend suggested that money can be earned by selling tooth sticks without investment. The young man told that he did the same and has earned 40 thousand so far. Usually he earns five to six thousand daily, sometimes it also becomes 10 thousand in a day. The viral video has got 82 lakh views so far.

No entry of vehicles coming from outside the city for three days from today

As part of the main bathing festival of Vasant Panchami, there will be a ban on the entry of vehicles from outside the urban area from Sunday. Devotees coming from other districts will have to park their vehicles at the parking places built outside the urban area. After this, they will reach the nearest ghats by shuttle bus and on foot. This arrangement will be in force from February 2 to 4. Separate parking places have been made for big and small vehicles depending on the type of vehicles.
