Chhaava Day 1 BO Collection: ‘Chhava’ broke the record of ‘Padmaavat’ at the box office, became the biggest historical open

Chhaava Movie Box Office Collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal’s film Chhaava has dominated the box office. It has become Vicky Kaushal’s biggest opening film.

Actor Vicky Kaushal’s lion roar has made his new film ‘Chava’ number one among historical films made in Hindi in the sense that it has given a better opening on the first day than all the five highest grossing films at the box office. Till now the record of highest earning among historical films made in Hindi cinema is held by ‘Padmaavat’ which earned more than Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office but its opening was only Rs 24 crore.

Actor Vicky Kaushal has made his mark at the box office on the very first day of his film ‘Chava’. The film has opened with more than 31 crore rupees on the very first day of its release. This is also the biggest opening so far in Vicky Kaushal’s career as a solo hero. ‘Chava’ has not only become the biggest opener of Vicky Kaushal’s career, but the film has also taken steps towards making the weekend pleasant by earning more than 20 percent of its cost on the first day itself.

Advance booking for 12,344 shows of producer Dinesh Vijan’s film ‘Chhava’ has been going on since last Monday. The film was released worldwide on Friday. Many couples also came to watch the film on Valentine’s Day and they really liked the dialogue between Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in the film addressed as Shri and Sakhi Shri. People also shed tears on seeing Sambhaji and Yesubai remembering Maa Jagdamba in the climax of the film. People will remember the horrifying climax of the film that followed for years to come.

If the first day collection of any film is 20% or more of its making and promotion budget, then the chances of it becoming a hit are strong. The film ‘Chhaava’ has been made in Rs 130 crores. In that sense, Vicky Kaushal’s reputation is also believed to increase in Hindi cinema as the film ‘Chhaava’ has earned more than Rs 31 crores on the first day of its release. This collection is the biggest opening of any Hindi film so far this year. Before this, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia’s film ‘Sky Force’ had earned around Rs 15.30 crores on the first day of its release. This is the biggest opening of all historical films made in Hindi so far. Before this, this record was held by Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh starrer film ‘Padmaavat’ whose opening was Rs 24 crores.
