Champions Trophy: ICC announced the team of the tournament, six players from champion Indian team; Rohit not included

India won its second consecutive ICC title within eight months under Rohit’s captaincy. ICC has announced the team for the Champions Trophy whose captain has been New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner.

ICC has announced the Team of the Tournament for the Champions Trophy in which the maximum six players of the winning Indian team have been included. India won the title of this tournament after 12 years by defeating New Zealand in the final match played on Sunday. Even though six players from India were successful in making it to this team, Rohit Sharma has not been made the captain of this team.

India won its second consecutive ICC title within eight months under the captaincy of Rohit. ICC has announced the team for the Champions Trophy whose captain has been made New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner. Santner’s team was the runner-up. This ICC team includes Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Mohammad Shami, Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel as the 12th player from India.
