On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, August 26 is declared as dry day, CM Sai said- strict action will be taken against violators

Raipur. On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the state government has declared August 26 as a dry day in the state. On this occasion, there will be a ban on the sale and serving of liquor across the state. Also, strict action will be taken against anyone who violates the rules. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has shared information regarding this.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai shared a post on Instagram and wrote, ‘On behalf of the Chhattisgarh government, August 26 on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami has been declared as ‘dry day’ for the entire state of Chhattisgarh. During this time, all the retail shops of Indian and foreign liquor, hotels, bars, clubs and retail shops of cannabis located in the state will be closed. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the instructions.’
