Bihar: A new DGP has been appointed in Bihar. Nitish government has issued a notification for the appointment of the new DGP. Surveillance DG Alok Raj (1989 batch IPS ) has been made the new in-charge captain of Bihar Police. He has been given additional charge of DGP. 1989 batch IPS Alok Raj has been given the charge of new DGP of Bihar. 1989 batch IPS officer Alok Raj is the DG of Vigilance Bureau Bihar and has been given the charge of DGP till further orders. In addition to his responsibilities, Director General of Police of Vigilance Investigation Bureau Alok Raj will also be in charge of Director General of Police Bihar Patna till further orders.
