New Delhi : Bomb threats have been received in more than 20 schools in Delhi today. These include a school in Paschim Vihar area, Abhinav Public School in Rohini Sector 3 and more than 20 schools in the city have received threatening mails. There was a stir after receiving the threat. As soon as the information was received, the fire department and Delhi Police reached the spot and started investigating the premises. So far, investigation has been completed in more than ten schools. Along with this, Delhi Police is also investigating the origin of the mail.

Meanwhile, former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena has tweeted and raised questions on the safety of children in the capital. She wrote – Today more than 20 schools have received bomb threats! Just imagine how much shock the children, parents and teachers must be facing. BJP has all the four engines of governance in Delhi, yet it is not able to provide any security to our children. This is shocking.

It is worth noting that for some time now, there have been constant threats of bombing schools and colleges in Delhi. These threats have created panic among students, parents and teachers. The surprising thing is that these threats are being sent through email, due to which Delhi Police and bomb disposal squads have become alert.

In the first three days of this week, 11 schools and one college received similar mails. After this, today again on Friday July 18, 2025 , more than 20 schools have received mails.
