MoU signed between Capacity Development Commission and Chhattisgarh Government
Raipur: An important MoU was signed between the Capacity Development Commission of Government of India and the Government of Chhattisgarh in a private hotel located in Nava Raipur today in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. This MoU, signed under Mission Karmayogi, an ambitious scheme of the Government of India, was signed by Additional Chief Secretary and Director General of Chhattisgarh Administration Academy, Subrat Sahu on behalf of the Government of Chhattisgarh and Member Secretary, V. Lalita Lakshmi on behalf of the Capacity Development Commission.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Mission Karmayogi is a visionary mission to realise the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through this mission, the spirit of Karmayogi will be developed in all the government officers and employees of the country and they will give their invaluable contribution in nation building. The Chief Minister informed that under Mission Karmayogi, continuous training will be provided to four lakh government servants in Chhattisgarh, the process of which has started. He also informed that till now about 50 thousand officers and employees have successfully completed this training.
The Chief Minister said that skill development has become an imperative today in accordance with the changing global and national scenario. With this new era, the role of Mission Karmayogi will be very important in promoting continuous skill upgradation and culture of excellence in governance and administration. He also said that this MoU will prove to be a milestone in providing new heights to the good governance that is being established in Chhattisgarh. Through this partnership, new training methods will be adopted as per the needs of the state.
The Chief Minister said that the state government will work with full commitment to implement Mission Karmayogi with full dedication and to make its benefits reach every level of administration. The government is constantly striving to strengthen the system and provide better services to the citizens through innovation and innovative initiatives at the governance and administrative level. He said that this initiative will prove to be helpful in making public servants more sensitive and responsive towards the needs of citizens, as well as help in effective implementation of people-centric policies and services. Shri Sai said that through these efforts, we will all be able to realize the dream of developed Chhattisgarh with the help of skilled and motivated public servants.
On this occasion, Commission member Dr. Alka Mittal, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Secretary of Industries Department Rajat Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Mission Karmayogi Yojana Rakesh Verma, Director of Administration Academy TC Mahavar and other senior officers were present.
