This will take strict steps to prevent illegal excavation and transportation of sand, so that sand will be available to the general public at reasonable rates. Also, strict adherence to environmental and safety standards will be ensured in sand excavation. In the proposed rules, the process of sand mine allocation will be done through electronic auction. This will also increase revenue.

3) The proposal received from the Commercial Tax Registration Department of Chhattisgarh Government regarding determination of market value rates of agricultural land was approved by the Council of Ministers, under which the rate of land plot up to 500 square meters will be abolished for calculation of market value of rural agricultural land and the entire area will be calculated at hectare rate. This arrangement will be helpful in avoiding the kind of irregularities that came to light in Bharatmala Project and Arpa Bhainsajar of Bilaspur.
