Chief Minister Sai extends greetings and best wishes on the occasion of National Press Day

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended greetings and best wishes to all those associated with the media on the occasion of National Press Day, November 16.

Sai wrote on his social media platfor X – That heartiest greetings of National Press Day to all the journalist friends who are the vigilant guardians of democracy.

Sai further said that freedom of expression is the hallmark and foundation of our democracy.

An impartial press and fearless journalism are essential for a healthy democracy. The media sensitises citizens about their rights and responsibilities, thereby enhancing national and public interest.

Chief Minister Sai affirmed that Indian Press Day is a day to commemorate the importance and contribution of an independent and impartial press in a vibrant democracy like India.

Chief Minister Sai expressed hope on National Press Day that the media will continue to illuminate the path of democracy with its sharpness, sensitivity, and integrity, he added.
