Coordinated efforts of security forces, robust camp system, and improved connectivity have continuously shrunk the Maoist-affected area – Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: The decision of four active Maoist cadres, carrying a reward of Rs. 8 lakh each, to abandon violence and join the mainstream in the Kistaram area is clear evidence of the growing atmosphere of trust, security, and development in Bastar.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the resolution of “Naxal-free Bastar – Secure Chhattisgarh” is now becoming a reality on the ground.

Chief Minister Sai said that this transformation is a direct result of the coordinated and sustained efforts of the security forces, a robust camp system, effective regional presence, and improved road and communication connectivity. These efforts have continuously shrunk the Maoist-affected area and weakened their social base.

He said that the state government has a clear policy that those who want to abandon violence and return to the mainstream of society will be provided with opportunities, security, and a dignified life. This journey of peace, trust, and development in Bastar will continue with full commitment. the CM noted
