Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel on February 25-26, where he will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation. During the visit, he will also become the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Knesset and interact with the Indian diaspora.
Cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened
PM Modi stated that India and Israel share a strong and multifaceted strategic partnership, which has seen significant expansion and dynamism in recent years. He expressed hope that his talks with Prime Minister Netanyahu will further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The Prime Minister also stated that during this visit, he will have the honor of addressing the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, a symbol of the strong democratic ties between the two countries. He will be the first Indian Prime Minister to do so.
PM Modi to Meet Indian Diaspora
During his visit, PM Modi will also meet members of the Indian community. He noted that the Indian diaspora has long played a key role in strengthening the India-Israel friendship. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that his visit will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries and set new goals for the strategic partnership.
