UP’s renowned IPS couple—Anshika Verma and KK Bishnoi—celebrated their ring ceremony with great pomp and grandeur. Several photos of the couple exchanging rings, along with a video of them dancing together, have gone viral on social media. The wedding is scheduled to take place on March 29 in Barmer, followed by a reception in Jodhpur on March 30. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also been invited to attend the festivities.
UP’s most talked-about IPS couple, Anshika Verma and KK Bishnoi, are currently busy with their wedding preparations. While their wedding is set to take place on March 29 in Barmer, Rajasthan, a grand ring ceremony was organized yesterday—Thursday, March 26—as a prelude to the main event. Photos and videos from this ceremony are circulating widely on social media, capturing the couple as they exchange rings and dance together.

A few days prior to the ring ceremony, a separate event was held at the Lodhipur Bishnoi Dham in Moradabad. During this occasion, KK Bishnoi and Anshika Verma participated in a Havan Pujan (sacred fire ritual) alongside their family members. Vedic mantras were chanted during the religious ceremony, and offerings (Ahutis) were made in devotion to Guru Jambheshwar Maharaj. Notably, during this event, Anshika Verma underwent a naming ceremony and received Pahal initiation in accordance with Bishnoi traditions. Pahal initiation is an ancient ritual through which an individual is formally inducted into the Bishnoi community. The Lodhipur Bishnoi Dham is regarded as a significant religious and spiritual hub for the Bishnoi community.
Wedding Preparations
The IPS couple will tie the knot in Barmer on March 29. The following day—March 30—a reception will be hosted at the Lariya Resort in Jodhpur. For this special occasion, KK Bishnoi, accompanied by his parents, extended an invitation to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, a 2018-batch IPS officer, hails originally from Barmer, Rajasthan. Currently, he is posted as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Sambhal district. During his tenure in Sambhal, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening law and order. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has on several occasions lauded his work ethic and administrative acumen. He was transferred from Gorakhpur to the Sambhal district in 2024.
Anshika Verma: Famous as ‘Lady Singham’
On the other hand, IPS officer Anshika Verma is currently posted as the SP (South) in Bareilly. A 2018-batch officer, she is a native of Prayagraj, where she also completed her early education. Anshika Verma’s professional approach is consistently characterized as earnest, sensitive, and decisive. During her posting in Bareilly, she has resolved cases involving NDPS violations, murder, and other serious crimes with exceptional efficiency and speed.

Videos and photographs of the couple’s ring ceremony are rapidly going viral across social media platforms. In the videos, both K.K. Bishnoi and Anshika Verma can be seen dancing and exchanging rings. The presence of their family members is also visible in the photos and videos.
