Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai wrote on his social media platform X – Saying that—
Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage and ancient knowledge traditions are preserved in our manuscripts. Manuscripts are living proof of our civilization, culture, and intellectual splendor. Safeguarding them and passing them on to future generations is a shared responsibility for all of us.
The ‘Gyan Bharatam National Manuscript Survey Campaign’ launched by the Central Government is a visionary initiative in this direction, paving the way to make this invaluable heritage accessible through digital means while keeping it secure and preserved.
I urge all citizens of the state that if you have any ancient manuscripts, handwritten texts, or palm-leaf inscriptions preserved, please register their details on the ‘Gyan Bharatam’ mobile app and become part of this national effort. Your small contribution will prove to be a big step in preserving our cultural identity. Let us preserve our roots, safeguard our heritage—and pass on this priceless treasure of knowledge to future generations with pride.
