Chief Minister Sai Reacts Strongly to Congress President’s Statement: Terms Disparaging Remarks Against Prime Minister an Assault on Democracy

Congress Must Apologise: Chief Minister Sai

Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed a sharp reaction regarding the derogatory remarks used by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge against the nation’s illustrious Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

He stated that the comments made by Kharge are not only undignified, insulting, unparliamentary, and uncouth, but also constitute a direct insult to the millions of citizens across the country who regard Prime Minister Modi as their role model.

Chief Minister Sai asserted that, within a democratic framework, the use of such unparliamentary language is reprehensible and undermines the decorum of healthy political discourse. Describing this as a severe blow to the dignity of democracy, he remarked that such statements in public life run counter to democratic values, and no amount of condemnation is sufficient to address them, Sai added.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that this display of desperation by the Congress party is a clear indication of its political decline.

He has demanded that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the Congress party publicly tender an unconditional apology to the nation’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, as well as to the people of the country.

Chief Minister Sai observed that this statement reflects the mindset of the Congress party and its degeneration—a state where substantive issues have been supplanted by personal attacks and unparliamentary language.

In a democracy, such a mentality is not only unacceptable but also constitutes an affront to public sentiments; the Congress party must immediately engage in introspection and offer an unconditional public apology , CM Sai demanded.
